While being the same exterior dimensions (7’ Floor Length) as the previous 650SC model, this camper has been completely redesigned with a new floorplan, larger water capacity (30 gls), increased battery storage and a new 2 burner slide in stove.
Standard equipment on this 650SC includes several items that are optional on all other Northstar pop up campers.
Included in the base price: Glass top sink, 12v Compressor fridge, Sub Zero Insulated Vinyl Enclosure, Insulated Dinette Window w/Shade & Screen, 175 watt solar panel w/Blue Tooth, 12v USB, 110v in cabover for CPAP, Winterization Kit.
The 650SC (SC meaning Self Contained, Interior Toilet & Shower) is 7’ in the floor length and will fit full-size 5' 6" to 5’ 10” Ultra Short Bed trucks and 6' 4" to 6' 10" Standard Short Bed trucks.
This model will not impede the receiver on any of the 6' 4" to 6' 10" bed length trucks, therefore allowing for easy hitch access for those wishing to tow behind their truck and camper.
“Wrap” is the terminology that we use at Northstar for the built in tail lights and different length side skirts to accommodate the many different truck bed lengths.
A Std. build 650SC is no wrap to correctly fit all years F250/350 & 2020 & newer GMC/Chevy 2500/3500 with 6' 10" bed lengths.
6’4” & 6’6” bed lengths should have the ½ wrap option for a more finished look. Any of the Ultra Short Bed Trucks with 5’ 6” to 5’ 10” beds look more attractive with the ½ wrap option with longer wings.

Northstar Campers has been calling Cedar Falls, Iowa home since 1955 when the Willett family began manufacturing truck campers. The company was founded by Ralph (Tex) Willett, who along with his son Robert (Chuck), ran the company under the name of Texson Campers.
The father/son duo helped launch the company, building a reputation unmatched in the industry and creating a strong foundation for Chuck’s son, Rex. Rex took over the company in the 1980s, operating under the Northstar Campers name, which continues to this day.
We’ve been selling our campers to dealers since 1961, and Northstar’s campers are sold across the world to help families enjoy the outdoors and camping. From our facility at the corner of Leversee Road and Airline Highway in Cedar Falls, we’ve remained committed to improving our truck campers using proven construction technique while integrating modern materials.
